I found out about it because of the blog for this site and as the main blogger asked who was going on the post I thought about asking here.
If I find some time I will definetly go and have a go if I even manage to get close as there will be a lot of people there for sure!
So anyone else thinking of going to give it a try too?
The date is 23rd April Wednesday tomorrow and it starts at the crack of dawn or 8 in the morning.

I might head on down. Like you say, probably best to try and get down there early... get a good spot. Never been to a launch for a game, so don't really know what to expect. Have you been to one before, charmed?

I been to quite a few in the last year or so and they are quite fun if your into playing with others. As an example when I went to the Super Mario Galaxy launch everyone brought their Ds and we just sat down for hours playing Mario Kart. If playing DS is not something you would want to do while waiting there's problably something else to look at like at the Galaxy launch there were people playing it behind the display window and one of them was Mario's voice over person. There are often some nice items being given out as thank you for waiting for the game to launch like hats.keychains, tshirts, pen and a lot more. There are even competitions to win the game being launched sometimes or savings. So overall it is quite fun to be part of a launch even though I admit to being quite new to it as I only been to a few too but met some great people, even if obviosuly most are the silent type as your a total stranger. In case you end up going have fun and who knows if we will end up bumping into each other at the event. I also almost forgot to mention sometimes you can even get the game for free if your part of a certain number of people in line!
